Five steps, and the price you see is the price you pay

Every physical unit is tracked, so what shows as available really is available on your dates — tax included, nothing added at checkout.

Set your days

Pick your city and the first and last day of the shoot, once. Every price and every availability strip on the site is for exactly those days.

Build the cart

Body, glass, power, media, light, audio. The cart tells you what a kit is still missing before you book, not after.

Book it

The units are held the moment you check out. Pay by UPI, card or netbanking, and the GST invoice comes with the confirmation.

Collect it

Counter pickup is free. Delivery in the city, or a tracked courier anywhere in India — it reaches you the day before your first day.

Day, week and month on every item, and the cheapest one is always applied. Ten days costs ten days at the weekly day-rate, never a week plus three.

CineRentals is not only a shop. Any verified person can lend their own camera, lens or light beside the rental houses, at a rate they set — and crews across the country are looking every day. A body, a lens, a light, a recorder, a gimbal, a tripod: if it earns nothing between your own shoots, it can earn here.

The deposit sits with us

We hold the borrower's deposit until you check the gear back in, and late returns, damage and no-shows have a rulebook and a desk that applies it.

Hand over where you choose

A public place near you, delivery nearby for a fee you set, or a tracked courier. Contact details stay on the platform, both ways.

What you make is yours to see: the rate, our 20%, the GST and what reaches your bank are on every booking before you accept it. Nobody can ask for your gear without passing the same ID check you did, and a listing takes a few minutes to put up and one tap to pause.

What people ask us about the move

Will my old password work?

There is no password to work. CineRentals signs you in with a link to your email, a one-time code to your phone, or Google — so there is nothing to remember and nothing to steal. Use the same email address you used on the old shop and you land in your own account.

Where are my old orders?

In your account, under My bookings → Earlier rentals. You see the dates, the gear, what you paid and how each rental ended. They are history, so they cannot be changed — to rent the same thing again, book it on CineRentals.

I have a rental running right now. What happens to it?

It goes ahead exactly as agreed, and the deposit comes back the usual way. If anything about it is unclear, write to help@cinerentals.in with the old order number and we will sort it out.

Do I have to verify again, even though I rented from you for years?

Yes, once — the old shop's checks do not carry across, and every rental house and owner on CineRentals relies on that check. It costs you nothing, it takes about ten minutes, and the desk answers in about a working day.

What did you move, and what did you not?

Your name, your email, the addresses you had saved, your order history and the reviews you wrote. Never a password. You are not on any mailing list because of the move: you get email about your own bookings, and nothing else unless you ask for it.

Can I make money from my own gear now?

Yes, and it is the biggest change from the old shop. CineRentals is a peer-to-peer site: verify once, put up your camera, lens or light, set the day rate and the deposit, and keep the days you need for yourself. We take 20% of your rate before GST and nothing from the deposit, listing costs ₹199 once and comes back in full if we do not approve the item, and your share reaches your bank on the 1st of every month. I do not want an account on CineRentals.

Write to help@cinerentals.in from the email address on the account and we will close it. We keep only what the law makes us keep, such as invoice records.

Is it the same people?

Yes. The same team, the same gear and the same counter in Hyderabad, listed on CineRentals as the rental house CineRentals Studio — with the reviews you and other crews wrote on the old shop still on it.
